Halloumi skewers

A Danny St Pierre recipe
INGREDIENTS :
- 2 cups or 400 gr Halloumi cheese
- 4 tbsp or 60 ml sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp or 15 ml sunflower seeds
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp or 30 ml honey
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Cut the Halloumi into 3/4 inch large slices and thread on wood skewers. Without any oil, place directly your skewers on the plancha, medium heat. Let brown each side 2 mns.
2. On the side of the plancha, without any oil, roast the sesame and the sunflower seeds until they are golden brown.
3. Place the roasted seeds on a platter, add the Halloumi skewers and a drizzle of honey. Season with salt and pepper, and serve, it’s ready !
